ARISE

Welcome to the ARISE website for our Resettle Together volunteers! ARISE (which stands for Assisting Refugees through Initiative, Service, and Education) is a student-led organization at Boston University where our goal is to improve the lives of people who've been affected by forced displacement including but not limited to refugees, asylum seekers, and people affected by homelessness. We are a place where students who care about these populations can gather, collaborate, and create impact. Our Resettle Together volunteers offer resettlement support to immigrant families in the Boston area through apartment set-ups, employment searches, and social support. Our team is primarily made up of children and grandchildren of immigrants who are passionate about supporting refugees in navigating their adjustment to the community of Boston.
